Extended rear wheel base on shiver 2009!, Ideas?

Helloo, everyone well i am pretty satisfied with the mods on my beast already (will post pictures later). I was riding the other day and came across an yamaha r6 with an extended wheel base and i really loved the look and around here there are plenty of bikes with them. I was wondering what it would look like on a shiver, any ideas? . I think it will look really good besides the fact that u could really accelerate on a straight line tht being said i dunt intend to be any drags or anything of that sort. I simply want to get it cause of the look . I dont even know if its possible on the shiver so all ideas are welcome . Cheers

If you want to ruin your bike and make it handle like a harley go ahead. I can not help you though except to say it will be a custom built mod.

Sorry but just cant understand why you would want to do such a thing.
Just cant see any benifits what so ever and its certain that the Shiver dont require it with the performance its got.
Most mods like this are done on bikes with large amounts of power and to aid a fast takeoff. The downside to this is it completely fecks up the handling.

Around here we call them squids (people that cant ride). It is a waste, If you "like the look of it" then get a ricer and do like the rest, but for god sake dont destroy a superior machine like the Shiv.

It's certainly a different idea IMO id agree with all the other posts, I'd buy a busa that's already been done if that's what you like

Taking opinions to one side, it wouldn't work because of the shock position. You'd end up having torque stress through the new arm given the two points of connection (connection to frame and connection to shock) you'd end up over time with shears in the arm to the brake side
