    Good luck with that!!
Get your digs in on Ben now, after all you have 12 more races. It's going to be a long wait for the arrival of Arthur Sissis....

I'd be happy to put my money on Ben. He sat it on the front row last year and won by 7! Seems to know his way around ok!
When was the last time you did something for the first time?

Stoner down hard in FP3....caught out by sudden rain, he highsided, but is walking away, albeit obviously in pain.

I have commented on how I think Stoner's riding style reminds me of watching Wayne Rainey.
My thought was - "Rainey didn't have traction control - he had the finesse of his right hand"
I would like to have seen Stoner go against Rainey on the bikes Rainey ussed to ride. Back in The Day.

From what I have read, Stoner has most of the TC switched of. Thats how he likes it !
I think he would have been quite a sight on 500`s against the ol group.

No doubt. MotoGP coverage reiterated this about 5 or 6 times. I'm still not 100% conviinced he is gone if he doesn't win the championship this year. Just sayin'. Regardless, if he has accomplished everything he set out to do personally, one has to respect the discipline of leaving at this point in a career. Something tells me that as much as spectators will miss him, he just 'may' miss racing at the pointy end, too.

Just a shame that its taken till now for folks to realise.....personally I've been banging on about his God-given talent since he first appeared as a kid riding 125's in British Championships.......who cares if he doesn't like the PR bullshit, his gift is to ride a motorcycle beyond the realms of anbody else's capabilities and in the end that's what racing is all about, stuff the personality contests!

Actually, it is about whatever people want to make it about, and you and I can't control that. I've never liked Biaggi.....think the guy acts like a prick. Damn fine racer, but I don't care for him, don't like the way he acts, don't care for his arrogant ways, and frankly, won't root for him unless he is racing someone that is a bigger asshole, and none really come to mind. Personalities DO matter in the larger scheme of things, and fairness, or lack thereof, isn't necessarily the rule.

Things are looking up for Iannone!

At least I'll get one point back on Fwag this weekend (crossing fingers and touching wood).

    Let the games begin...

Have Biaggi and Stoner as my personal favourites, they can ride their bike like no other.
Pol Espargaro will be interesting to follow, he's got some fine talent!
When exiting the corner I suddenly ran out of talent and fell off the bike.

yeah, you're right, personality does matter, but more to some then others. I too think Biaggi is a bit of a twonk, but it doesn't change the fact that every time I see him ride, I'm impressed by his amazing ability. It's about what your own priorities are. For many it seems to be about "the circus" of it all. Hence VR's throngs of fans. For others, myself included, it is about who can ride the fastest, nothing more, nothing less. VR at his peak, simply unbelievable!!! In the style of Mick Doohan, just demolished his opposition to the point that they were beaten before they even arrived at the track on Friday morning. Now..... well I never really cared for his antics in the first place, and he's running around mid pack, so I struggle to assign him any relevance. Stoner, Lorenzo, Crutchlow, Pedrossa, now they have relervance, regardless of their personalities, assuming your main interest is motorcycle racing?
