Trying to get these damn L.E.D taillights to work.
Anyone got any details like a wiring diagram or tutorials???

The circuit diagram for 2002 Morini is here

When you go to hook those LED tail lights up, just be aware the riding lights are fed on AC and the brake lights are on DC. The problem you have with AC in the scooter is that it’s not a regulated constant voltage, it tends to go up and down depending on engine RPM’s. That’s not good for LED’s, they won’t last long, you need to feed them a nice constant DC voltage.
I am guessing those LED clusters have a current limiting resistor appropriate for 12V, if so the brake lights will be fine, but to get the running lights working reliably you will need to tap into the scooters 12v DC ignition on circuit somewhere.
Thanks but I was kinda hoping someone could tell me which of the only 4 wires on the taillight go, and which part of the taillight will light up for which wire.
I already have the diagram for the bike but nothing for the lights.
Very handy for the DC/AC setup, thanks.

I think you just gotta try. Or hook 12v dc to the terminals and see which light up

Ah, I see what you mean. The colour wires from the LED tail light units.
Unfortunately I don’t know.
I don’t suppose the manufacturer did anything useful like match the colour wires with the ones from the scooter’s tail harness?
If you have a 12v power source, like a battery or bench supply, then you can try to hook them up one at a time and see what happens.
Good starting point, assume that if there is a black wire it will be 0V or ground, be careful as that might not be the case.
If nothing lights up immediately, don’t hold the connections ON for too long as reverse polarity can damage LED’s
Black = Ground
Red = Brake light
Yellow = Park light
Blue = Turn signal

Thanks to High-Gain SR 50 the taillights are all done and refitted.
All that's left now for styling is to put the mirrors and grips on.
And then put it all back together.
Since all the performance parts haven't arrived yet I will have to ride it as is.
