    Bike wont start after repair

    Gents,
Looking for a little bit of help with my bike. I recently had to lift the gas tank and fixthe line within the tank that likes to break and cause leaks from within, the informationto fix that problem was in fact provided on this forum, so thanks for helpingfix problem one.
Now the bike won’t start. The battery is showing 12 volts, the bike goes through its entire startprocess, complete with all the sounds only known to the Aprilia. When I push the start button the only soundis that of the solenoid doing its half click, click. A sound that I have associated with a lowbattery in the past, but that isn’t the case.
I have ensured the bike is neutral, and there is around 2gallons of gas in the tank. I also movedthe bike around and put the kickstand up and down to ensure the sensor wasn’t hungup. I looked at the two fuses near thebattery, and both are fine. Boy’s imfresh out of ideas someone toss me a bone.

    Your battery is empty.
A fully charged battery should show around 12.8V before turning the key on.
    Charge your battery.

Try bridging the terminals of the starter solenoid with a rubber handled screwdriver. If it fires up then your solenoid needs replacing. Plenty of info on here about suitable upgrades.

Ignore my post about the rusted nut on the starter then in the duplicate thread if it's fixed.
