alrighty, fixing up a crashed Tuono and needed to replace most of the rear... bought a tail light from (i belive) an 07 RSV1000R, from America (not sure if it makes a difference?)
im sure all the screws im using are correct, every other part of the rear seems to be sitting right... ive had a decent play around and have no idea what im doing wrong, ill add a photo via link, any help would be appreciated

There is a difference between 04/05 rsv taillights and the 06> rsv/tuono taillights.
They look the same but they arnt.
Maybe you are trying to use a 04/05 taillight on a 06 or later tail?
Post the partno so we can check.

i agree with mini_me, i had the same issue on mine, i just left it though (and now it's sold on to someone anyway)
i see, i sent a msg to the guy i bought the tail light from asking if it could have been from a different year...
i also took it off and compared it to the (broken) original, the differences seem like they'd have to be just in the size/shape of the lens

Correct. Country codes only concern the color of the lens. EU clear vs US red.
