Fairing installation

Hello, it seems every time i take my bike apart and put it together, there seems to be fitment issues where the nose fairing holes will not line up with the lowers. I have an 04, are there any tips or tricks anyone has for this issue?

your bike ever get leaned hard against something or start to fall and have somebody catch it by the fairing or hip check it?

remove the mirror mounts, put them back to back on a flat plate.....bet they are different figure out which one is bent and make it match the other one

you may already be doing this, but when fitting the side panels i found that it was easiest to start first with the 2 fasteners that fit through the nose fairing, then move back to the 2 fasteners that attach to the bracket on the frame, etc, etc - working my way towards the back of the bike.

My whole front end is brand new oem parts. so they shouldnt be off at all.


Ill try this technique next.
