I had one, my bike flipped over and I lost my Contour GPS and my mount.
You mount it on the triple or the bar. Amazon has a couple different options just type in Countour handlebar mount or something of the sort

I have mine mounted on my left side fairing, on the side of the air intakes basically. That way I can easily turn it on/off while riding and I can also switch it to film in front or behind of me.

I don't have the contour I have the GoPro. I purchased a mount from motodracing.com that works and it has several different positions for GPS, Camera or Laptimer.

Well if you guys DON'T have a Contour - you wouldn't know about the horrible sound quality of it...
You can't simply mount this thing anywhere; it does not come with a case like a go pro, and the mic is exposed so the wind noise can be quite terrific.
