    Gorgeous!

Can you imagine a real carbon fiber frame and swing arm like the HP4!

Personally I'm not all amped up on carbon frames. I think if they could really take the abuse of long life they would already be more popular in everything from production firearms and cars to motorcycles. I'm in a mental holding pattern here.

I can understand that. The resin is the weak link. After a few years it can degrade...

@Micah any flying/plane updates? Having started watching MrAvaiation101 (based out of San Marcos) Steveo1Kenevo and Premier1Driver it's got me thinking about that 35 year dream of getting my license again.

No real updates, it is annual inspection time again (other than April 15th my most manstration time of the year) but have been flying when weather is nice. Changed spark plugs and holy crap found a LOT of missing power by going a step hotter on heat range and getting rid of lead fouled ignition plugs. Changing plugs literally reduced takeoff distance by probably 150-200 feet fully loaded, not too shabby for $275 worth of 8 damn spark plugs. Thnaks for the tip on the YouTube dude, I had not seen him...been studying up again and hitting the books and videos, at this point I really am only like 2 hours of dual instruction (.7 IFR) and night cross country away from being testable...get this shit done! Once the license arrives the Cessna goes away and the Beechcraft gets picked up and de-pickled.

    What does de-pickled mean?

    ^ sort of a more intense "de-winterizing"

Oil drained and refreshed, plugs were likely removed, and cylinders given a shot of fogging oil, etc

Battery replaced...its like photorotor said but definitely a little more work and a lot more money than just airing up the tires and changing the oil. Nothing worth doing is without risk and expense, I've no children nor need to create generational wealth so fuggit, if it makes me smile...

When I was younger I was afraid I'd die riding. Now that I'm old and falling apart, I'm afraid I won't.

I'm a boat person and they're expensive, I would imagine aircraft are another order of magnitude expense wise tho'. I've had a few flying lessons and I know what you mean about the smile.
