New guy with an EPROM question

    Hi guys

Juat bought my rsvr 2003 model last weekend after always wanting one and managed to get the titanium exhaust in the deal. The seller didn't include the Evo chip but just said he'll post it to me code is 2253 rsv 2001. He said the fuel pump wouldn't prime with the chip fitted so do I need another board for it to work?

As it is now with the exhaust ffitted

New guy with an EPROM question

    Hi all

Just bought a 2003 rsvr with the ti race can but the seller said the Evo 2253 RSV 2001 chip would cause the fuel pump not to prime. Any ideas?

You might be happier with a chip from Gabro... and make sure your bike has been de-restricted!

The EVO chip requires a daughterboard FWIW, but as Eskimo states the Gabro chips are pretty good from everyone's comments on the forum.

Hoh, Hum, another shitty day in paradise!

    Hi

    Nice bike
You could get a chip from gab
But you should find the bike will run fine with just the can fitted
They run a bit rich as standard so the can can does balance things out

Also an original aprilia chip needs the daughter board to work
Hence why the guy said the bike does not start with it
    It's a copy protection thing

    Google derestricting an RSV
Just to make sure your ecu wire is cut pin 16
And the Plug has been removed from the air box

This should have been done if its a uk bike
