Hi. New to this forum. I have a 2010 RSV4R. I noticed the other day that the reflector in both low-beam headlights is melting under the bulbs. I went to local dealer to see about buying replacement reflectors and was told that the whole headlight assembly is one unit and will cost $395. I bumming because my 2 year warranty ended 5/12. Has anyone had this problem? If so, what caused it and what is the fix? Also, my local dealer is no longer carrying the Aprilia line. The next closest is in New Haven, CT. Anyone know if they are any good? Maybe give me the first name of the guy to talk to there? Any and all help would be great! Thanks!

What a bummer. I feel your frustrations. I would call Aprilia USA. This was a common problem on the early v4s.

Mine was replaced last year. Though not the best beam pattern, I now run HIDs so it's a bit cooler than stock.
