Funny how much faster the free copies go than the ones for sale. If profit wasn't a concern (not that it's much of one now), I could sell a ton of these, or as some marketing folks say, "we're losing money on each unit, but we'll make it up in volumes."

For those that missed the freebies, the thread with the book details is over at http://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/s...10#post3144310. Basically can get signed copies from me now, Nook or Kindle versions, and pre-orders from the other sources like Amazon and B&N.

Have a good week everyone (you too DM) and you guys should see the free copies soon, a little longer of course for the overseas ones.

Sorry to hear your day sucked, but glad the book made you smile, hopefully many more times before you're done reading it. Enjoy your evening, and as Sarah was told in Terminator, "look at it this way. in 100 years, what's it gonna matter?"

sounds like the people north of you aren't doing so hot either. i sprained my ankle hiking Arthur's point, lightning struck the next day (clearly mother nature's retribution against the mountain for injuring me), and those fires are horrible up there now.

haha i have to agree with SF2DieHard. Just skimming through the book, i saw some great lines. I'm probably going to start it tonght, even though i still have 2 others i'm trying to finish. Yeah we even had a fire start just west of me, plumes of smoke coming over the mountains from Pikes Peak national forest. You think you'll be back in CO anytime soon? I at least owe you a nice lunch or something. I'll travel up north to meet you.

    always glad to entertain, DM!

it's kind of a book for people too busy living life to read books. i didn't want to put something out that i wouldn't read myself, and considering my limited reading over the years (crue, manson, yates, sixx), tried to make it a little interesting.

Even Pikes Peak is burning now too? dang that's gotten bad out there.

with sunshine and me both having family out there, i know we'll be out again soon. I think Ronan the Beerbarian and Sporty Spice might be getting married next summer too. Might be next year, but i know we'll be back to the mountains again before long, hopefully hauling the s1k out again as well!

You bet, sir. Glad everything made it to your residence in the state that spawned my existence many years ago on the day before the Exorcist premiered in theaters. Happy reading and say 'hi' to the girls at Mangos for me!

Hopefully by now everyone who ordered the free book has received them, unless you're in Alaska or overseas, which may take a little longer. I hope you all enjoy it, and again, i really appreciate an honest review at http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/boun...=9781614482550 if you don't mind. The publisher is pre-selling copies to stores, so if B&N store sees more reviews, they'll be more likely to order the book and place it well, which means maybe i'll be less in the red on this project.

For those who are still interested in the book and didn't get a free one, the book can be pre-ordered at a B&N or a signed copy from me now at http://www.ychrome.com/Bouncing%20off%20Guardrails.html.

Thanks and have a great weekend and 4th! careful with the funsnaps. It's all fun and games til you blow a hand off.

Hey everyone, hope you had a good Labor Day weekend. Book release is coming up 01 Oct, so thanks to those that have left reviews, and for those that haven't, I'd sure appreciate one at http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/boun...=9781614482550 as it gets closer to release so the stores might be more apt to put it on the shelves and spread the mental poison.

    Enjoy the weekend!
