    Sportrack

Found this sportrack for the V4 and it fits on in place of the rear seat, locks into place and works well with a tailpack.
    Got them from here

yep we got directly from Louis.de , can't remember the exact price but they do remove 19% for the VAT and that pays for the shipping, they will charge the full price but once shipped you get a refund of the 19%. We bought 2 of them and total was Euro 294 after the rebate so will depend on the exchange rate for $ postage will be less but not half and sent by DHL so easy to track.

Lewrsv4 and Hyper the sports rack fits exactly like the pillion seat and in place of, using the existing mounts as in megpet's post. The bag is then strapped on with a combination of straps for front /rear stability and four bungi straps for side to side stability.

With regard to the two fashionistas, sorry I forgot to provide background information to help you. Australia is a very big place. Megpet and I are going on a road trip In search of a few nice roads and to catch up with friends. On the first leg of the journey we will cover no less than 3300 kilometers or for you who may not know that is approx 2050miles and that's if we don't take any interesting detours. Perth to Melbourne. And we will most certainly have more stamina than just being able to ride for an hour. In those small tail packs we will have enough equipment to enable us to make the trip. Can't wait to go. Google the Nullabor Plain and see the trerrain and distance between fuel stops.

LOL. You crack me up bro. I know it looks funny too, especially such a large item on the tail of the World's sexiest motorcycle. I have to say that riding 120 mile trips daily to work carrying a heavy back pack all the time this would be awesome and still allow me to lane share with out worry. I do have a cheap set of saddle bags from Cycle Gear I picked up but took them off after a while. They rub on the fairings a bit and I don't want wear marks on it. I did a google price conversion and this Metal Tail mount equals $184 which seams like a lot of money for how simple of a design it is.
    In the garage now 2001 Suzuki GSXR-1143, 2004 RSV Factory & 2010 RSV4 Factory. Somehow ended up with an inline 4, V-twin & V4.

A different system that I ran across. I will need to research it further, but it isn't nearly as pricey as the louis.de version if you buy just their sportrack.

Scratch that, you have to buy the L brackets plus a rack, so a bit more than the other, but I don't think it looks as odd without a load as the louis sportrack does. Preference I suppose.
