Ok guys....... Lets get this bike of mine sorted!!!!

I have decided to sell my road going Mille as am doing more and more trackdays now and get my kicks of riding like a loonatic there in relative safety!! so, the Futura is my only road bike (at the moment!!!) and have so far sorted out....

    • Rsv Showa forks
    • TFX shock from Hugo
    • 320mm discs
    • 4 pad calipers
    • Early Rsv intake boot

All I need are new brake linesto finish the set up......

HOWEVER........I am struggling to find a decent exhaust can for reasonable money???? I am simply looking for a nice sound as opposed to power as, stated above, I have the track bike for that!!

So guys, does anyone have cans for sale, know someone who has or know where I should be looking for them??? Also, if anyone can list the cans that allow me to keep using the panniers in safety that would be a big help!!

Thanks all.........let's get this bike finished!!!!

I'm working on gutting a stock can and repacking for use with an HPipe... Honestly I'd go that route first regardless. Pull off your endcan completely and it's a decent exhaust note albeit a little loud with nothing but the breabdox - the catalyst quiets it down quite a bit on its own.
I don’t need to trek through Africa and I don’t need to climb Everest — I need to ride every f***ing curvy road between here and there. That’s far more powerful. Far more majestic. Far more of a journey.

I just did the same thing on the front end with mine. I went with a double banjo and 2 sepreate lines. Had them made locally for $50 including banjo, lines, washers and tax. Right side 27", left side 31". Just make sure you take your old line with you so you can make sure the orientation of the fittings is correct. Also, take your old banjo so they can match the thread pitch.
    Current:

02' Futura: Staintunes, H-pipe, Firebolter air kit, Corbin w/backrest, Mille forks, mille rotors, mille calipers, ss braided brake & clutch lines, MPL clutch slave cylinder, brembo radial master cylinders, license plate bracket chop, charcoal cannister removed, fork sliders, R&G frame sliders, throttlemeister, smoke windscreen, air box derestricted, mille air boot, stomp grip tank pads, anodized gas cap bolts, Ford starter relay, Ballistics lithium battery, helmet lock, carbon rear mud guard, Marsee corona tank bag, filler cap mod

04' RSVR Track - In part out mode

Andi, something I didn't think of. Which master cylinders and calipers are you using? I installed brembo masters and calipers from my mille. Not sure if the connection points will make a difference in line length.

Can't understand the buying a touring bike and then wanting to make it louder, i have modded mine a fair bit but only to help braking and handling, i want my sportsbike to be loud, but a touring bike i don't get it mate

A lot of new owners these days buy the Futura then try to change it into another bike. Never understood that myself either but hey ho each to their own. We all see our own version of how we want our bikes I suppose.
