    04 Tuono Racing map question

Just curious if the 04 Tuono's require cutting the blue-green wire to access the second map?
I have an 04 Tuono Racing with a Gabros chip, BMC filter and the stock race can (for now) and it seems awfully lean to me, plus im getting WAY better fuel mileage then I ever got with my 00.5 Mille. It had the dual Arrow full system, and old style Evo airbox kit and a FP 13-14 chip.
    thanks guys,
    D

Which of Gabro's chips do you have? If you have a V2/V5 the V2 map is in map position 1 and the V5 is in map 2 and the blue green wire would need to be cut to access it. My Gabro F255 has a leaner map 1 and a richer map 2.
2000 Tricolor, KTM Sprag, 16/43 sprockets, D.I.D. 525 Gold Chain, Rick's Stator version 2, RP collector modified with dual link pipes, Gabro F255 EPROM, Akrapovic slip on, Ohlins radial front forks, Falco clip-ons, 16mm Brembo radial brake master cylinder, Brembo four pad radial brake calipers, BrakeTech Axis ductile iron brake rotors, Integrated LED brake lights & blinkers, Ohlins rear shock with remote preload adjuster, Longer RS125 mirrors so I can see more than my shoulders and elbows.

It says: f551 on the chip....
I haven't been able to find any reference to it online.

Send Gabro a PM and I'm sure he can tell you what the chip is and what maps are on it.

Sounds like you are indeed on V2. You can cut the wire to access V5 or install a switch to allow you to toggle between the two. I would PM Gabro too. He is the man.
    Funny quip goes here

The F551 is the "boiler" map, for derestricted bikles running the std anchor can
It's like the V5 (same ignition) but a little leaner on the fuel. It has ony one map in, wire cut or not doesn't matter!

    Enjoy!

    Gab RULEZ!!!

    But how is it lean?
From what I've understood, Gab magic will not only boost your Ape... It'll also make it less thirsty. Even when in V5.

Ofcourse the root of all evil will be the right hand.

Ok, that's exactly what I wanted to know.... and it explaines my leanness with the Ape race can..... Time to start thinking about a chip.
