Got two GoPro WiFi BacPac's and one Remote to use and remotely control my second generation Hero and new Hero2.
Setup, firmware updates, were pretty straight forward. The Hero required a different update method than the Hero2.

Nice video explanation Chris. I will admit that I saw you were from TN and I was thinking that you had the weirdest southern accent I've ever heard. I'm gonna take a wild guess that you are a transplant

'03 Gold and Grey... Full 2-2 Akro system with Mivv Carbon GP's, PC3 custom dyno, CRG Hindsights, ASV levers, Acculign Rearsets, heated grips, Sargent seat, Penske Triple rear, Penske 20mm internals up front, derestricted airbox, 15t x 42t and crappy gas mileage
I used the GoPro Remote and two Wifi BacPac's today, had a camera facing forward and one backwards. The remote worked flawlessly controlling both cameras. I was able to power down both cameras, when we were on boring sections and power both camera's back up with one touch of the button on the remote.
The remote also has a red flashing LED that's on when the cameras are recording.
I'm a Brit originally, came here in 1982 when I was 25 and finally became an American in February 2011.I'm gonna take a wild guess that you are a transplant
