What RPM's does your scooters back tire start to spin at?

stupid question but i have a 2007 morni Ditech and when i slowly rev it up to 3000 rpms on the stand just the engine revs but at 4000 the wheel starts to spin is this normal for a de restricted scoot? i just thought that the wheel should spin at lower Rpms not all the way at 4000..

I don't remember exactly when I was stock but 4000 is not abnormal.

alright and another question when i hold the starter button down whats the ring/bell sound i hear?

it is more then likely your starter gear engaging with the big starter gear (forgot the name of it) But that could also mean it is loose. a Video of the sound would be good.

My rear tire sometimes spins at idle (2000 RPM) slowly. This doesn't happen always - is it normal?

Oh i thought every sr made that sound il try to get a vid up later but il give you more info..so i press the efi button after thats done i hold the left brake in and while holding that down i click the starter button its starts fine..But i once pressed in the left brake and clicked the starter while it was already running and it made the bell/ring sound its stupid that i did this because it was running already..So if your sr is running and when u pressed that you never heard the ring sound?

It doesn't matter which break lever you use (unless one of your break switches is pooched). If the bike is running and you hit the starter, the pinging sound you hear is the starter gear attempting to engage the main gear...

My bike makes that bell sound, it prevents the starter gear ( bendix) from engaging with the cog on the crank and let them destroy eathother
