I've got no big trips planned this summer in the US (maybe a weekender or two, if I'm lucky), so I want to live vicariously through you! Lay it on me - what are your Mana plans this season (Summer in the US)?

Winter here right now so in a couple of weeks I'm flying north for a couple of weeks by Mana. Heading to Townsville in FNQ it will be very pleasant up there at this time of year. I'll probably go up the coastal route and return down the inland. The first and last couple of days'll be a bit miserable but once I'm north of Brisbane it should all be peachy!!!

Nothing major, a few more track days but I have been using my business trip to upstate NY and throughout New England as opportunities to ship my work stuff to the hotel and then follow up on the bike... Managed to do Saratoga Springs, Albany, Foxwoods in CT. Harrisburg so at least I get to mix the bike with work![]()

I will be going from the UK to France then down to the south of Spain which is about 1350 miles. I doubt if it will be this year due the fact that I haven't a lot of vacation left so it may be by car this year(Less fuel stops and can do easily 800 miles in a day). If not it will be next year by then I'd had sorted the screen and the lack of centrerstand and a new belt.
June 24 through 29. From Tucson to Northern NM, Taos, Red River, Cimmaron, Angel Fire, and parts unexplored. Can't wait!! Me on my Mana and my wife on her Triumph Speedmaster
My wife and I are going two up on the 09 Mana from Vancouver BC, Canada, through state roads like the north cascades highway continuing with state 2 through to Glacier National Park (Waterston National Park on the Canadian side of the border) and then back through Alberta and route 3 home. Should be about 1800 miles total. We have 8 days.
We have done a bunch of longer rides over the years but those were mostly on the Guzzi V1000 which as a LAPD model was not very cozy for two.
Possibly Baja, probably August...nice and hot..![]()
I'll remember that next time it's -8*C in the morning. Despite what people think its not all sun and beaches. I'm at 800+ meters elevation and it gets cold here at night. As long as it doesn't rain though by 10.30AM it'll be above freezing and by mid afternoon it can be a balmy 16-17*C. If its cloudy and the wind's blowing though? Jeez you'll know about it!!!

Just got back from a week at the Americade rally earlier this month in Lake George, NY. New York and Vermont mountain roads are a blast!
