New to forums bought a 2007 sr50 factory questions about mulivar 2000 and v12 reeds

Hi im a recently new owner of a 2007 sr50 factory. My bike just turned 5000 miles so i decided to buy some upgrades while i had the belt replaced.I ordered LV Z-xr,malossi multivar 2000,maloss special belt and malossi v12 reeds from HGT.The shop im taking it to doesnt have exp with aprilia scooters. But they have changed belts for me in the past. When they install the multivar i want to make sure they do it correctly,no restrictor washer etc.Im hoping someone can illustrate what washers from the kit will need to be used and where.Like will the stock washer behind the backplate be used or is there one in the kit to replace it.Just want to get all my eggs in the basket so i can guide them when i take it up there. Also will i have to use the stock stuffer for the v12 reeds or will the one with them work?My bike has been ecu/variator derestricted in the past otherwise completely stock.Any help would be great, and nice to meet everyone and thank you

There shall be no spacer/washer inbetween two halves pulley.

As far as vl12 you do not need stuffer. And performance wise on a 50cc you will not see any difference with it.

Sorry, I don't quite get it. If you are paying a shop to work on your scooter, then you shouldn't have to 'guide' them. If they are professionals, then they should figure it out. This forum is mostly dedicated to DIYers. If they can't do it, do it yourself - you and your shop person should both read the 'stickies' in any case.

It was my understanding that the multivar for the morini comes with 7g rollers.I was told these along with included white contra spring are dead on.Someone chime in if this isnt the case,i briefly considered the DP sliders.

Thats a good start but for sure if you want the sweet spot, you will have to play with some more. With a 50cc morini, I suggest 7.5 to 8.5 depending of your actual scoot condition and you.

On my side I bought DP, 6.5, 7.0, 7.5, 8.0, 8.5 and 9.0. Forget 6.5 and 9.0. And 8.0 and 8.5 was always my best hit depending of my installed mods. Always chrono differences and mix weight size to get the optimal size. It's really time consuming but it pays. Every 0.1s counts! Up to you!

HGT wrote a really good article about cvt transmission. It's really well writen and went from newbie to novice after one read. Search high gain tuning blog.

So the smaller spacer supplied with the multivar must be used. But the larger spacer is for between the pulley halves and is basically a restrictor and not needed?
