The Vin# does give sequence of manufacture but I am not sure they are sequential in terms of model. Anybody know for sure?

Are all the regular T's a certain number range followed by, or preceded by, "factory" models?

So, if # 300 is a "Factory" does that indicate that #301 or 299 is also a "factory"?

Blasphemous!!!! I love my blue wheels. The fact that they grab so much attention being blue means that I've gotta clean them constantly, but I still love 'em.

On the color scheme in that pic there is so much going on with the caramel color for the frame and the inconguent color of the Ohlins forks, I agree that the blue wheels are just an additional contributor to near sensory overload.

However, on the 2007.5 Nero, I LOVE the blue wheels.

+1 on that. I have a non-Factory Tuono 1000R, and I love the blue wheels. Later Tuonos with black wheels just looks to "generic" for me

Speaking of 07 Factory's, I saw a red and white Factory with blue wheels today in Robbinsville, NC. I didn't get a close view or talk to the rider, but it looked like a very well-kept bike.

It would be slightly interesting to find the hightest production number for various years...getting a sense of overall production #s for factory versus r, etc. And bragging rights for the one with the lowest!!

#8 is the one you get the number your bike is. If you've got 0001 means number 1 on the production run, yes ?

Mines an RR 5603 which I don't really understand, should it not be something like RF[R factory] and surely their isn't 5603 Black Dream's out there, so that must just mean the 5603'rd Tuono built ?
Or am I missing something

in 2006 aprilia manufacturated the first 300 factory (i have the #300)

which came ( i think only those 300) with aprilia racing titanium exhausts,different lion on the tank and oz racing forged aluminium wheels

after those 300 mass production of the factorys began

the one on ebay is definately not one of the first
