i'll try that tomorrowyeah the basket has been off completely, i tried the other basket off my old engine which worked fine, how have you got your cable routed nicketynoo?
okay so today i had all the clutch plates back out, took out the 2 pushrods, the ball bearing and the clutch arm, put everything back in as it should be and it still doesnt fucking work, i had the back wheel off the ground and operated the clutch at the actuating arm and it was still the same, still wont disengage
Did you adjust the Central Adjuster on the presure groop of the clutch? and did you try to adjust the cable tighter?
Otherwise you must be doing something wrong mate, i am to tired to look up the whole set of instruction to asemble the clutch, but you must be doing something wrong somewhere.
yeah the central adjuster is adjusted so when i felt resistance i came back 1/2 a turn, i tried other adjustments but no difference whatsoever. i tried adjusting the cable tighter too but the cable is pulling the arm as far as it will go
Sorry Josh not been looking on here for a couple of days. You've ruled out your cable by doing this test. What spares have you got? I have a few spare clutch parts that I could send you to try and find the problem if you like. think I've got a basket,plates ,pressure plate and original springs etc.
If you want I'll send them you pay postage later and try the bits when you find whats wrong decide what you want to do. Make me an offer for the bit you need or send me them back and buy new.
