Have the tank facing on its back with the filter part away from you.
The put the filter piece back in with the screw that is closest to the filter rod to the right of you.
ie: The little arrow on the dial that you turn should face out.
However, I do not know what issue getting it the wrong way could cause, probably not much I would imagine.
