The secret is not to go too mad with the polish.Just spray on a light 'dusting',then buff it up with a soft cloth.
Tried a little on it, but i think silicone sprays aren't designed for matt paint. Makes it glossy.
Paint it white!

I'll give you a hint, avoid anything that has 'shine' in the name. It's matt paint, you do not want to add shine (TBF I view the paint more as satin). A guy at work has a 'Frozen Gray' BMW M3 and the warranty has a shitload of disclaimers when it comes to the paintwork.
If you want to get super anal about these things, go and ask over here - http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/index.php

LOL. I was thinking the same thing.
I was serious when I said get the Ultima Paint Guard Plus. I've personally used it on my own matte finish paint and I've also used it on matte vinyl. Matte vinyl is far harder to maintain than a matte spray job. The UGP+ works incredibly well.
It'll be all you ever need.

Googled it and i can't get it in UK. The only one i can find is called ultima paint prep plus
Hmmm, on my first page of google results I found a few stockists, although a lot are out of stock.
Here's one though - http://www.elitedetailer.com/product...eda4d55&cPath=
I should have added that everywhere seemed out of stock! Thanks for the link. Its on its way![]()
I just used some 303 Aerospace Protectant on the Tuono and am very happy with the results. Spray on and wipe dry. Leaves the Matte finish looking Matte without a shine.
No residue or other issues? I might try that. I can't find any of the other stuff except the $150 for four stinkin' ounce Swissvax (or you can get the whole starter kit for $1200!!!!!!!-for car wax???!!!) and I use 303 on my RIB boat all the time ($60/gallon I think, still pricey but a whole lot better than Chanel # Swiss).
303 went on a little shiny at first but as it dried it dulled up. This is my first time using it on the bike but I'm happy with the look.
It also helps repel mud/bugs/grime and has UV protectors.
I got some permanon super matte and the stuff is great, it add a very slight shine to the surfaces but works great, not much sticks to it and water just beads of very impressed so far.

Anyone had success with getting spots off the matt finish, I had a few tiny spots near on the tank likely from petrol splashback?
