I think you are missing the point....there are some very good products that come out of China....nobody (I don't think) has said otherwise. The problem with Chinese copies, particularly levers, is you just do not know what you are buying....you have no quality control reference...you're buying blind.

95% of levers are bought for the bling factor only, to 'improve' the bike cosmetically.
Ironic then, given that some spend £14k on their bike, to adorn it with cheap knock-off tat.

Tifa, I do see your point and I'm not missing it, I'm just finding it a tad wearing that time and time again not just on here but other fora Chinky products are continually getting a bad rap, maybe not directly referenced - but certainly implied ie 'cheap knock-off tat.

I'm certainly not pro Chinky, but we have no proof the levers Scott is using are/are not made by a quality source - and quality sources do exist there in abundance - come to think of it - has anyone ever asked to see any QC documentation for levers? I must admit I haven't.

I've tried trusty Pazzo's on my TV4 but I like my Chinky ones better, they've done a few thousand miles now with no issues and I do check them regularly for cracking/distortion.
