The first swap is likely so soon in order to remove any metallic debris while the new gears break in.

Ha, might want to look into that. Any sentiments probably just fell to the bottom anyway.

Once you get your 70cc setup back are you going to do a gear up kit?

IMO. If your old rollers didn't have flat spots or you haven't put the sliders in the wrong way, your weights were and are again too heavy for you contrast spring.
    Good luck.

Thanks everyone for answering. I'll check the gear oil today just to be sure. As for the rollers and contra: how can I make it work? When I tried a stiffer contra I needed very heavy rollers to compensate that (to bring RPMs back down). And when I added lighter rollers, RPMs were too high. I noticed my SR didn't accelerate well with lighter weights. Thanks still, could this just be solved with a new stock contra (or a white one) or a bit stiffer one?

Yup, start with your gear set 13/39 and keep buying diff sets till I find the right one.

There's nothing wrong with having heavy rollers if the setup works.

How much lighter are you talking? A few grams reduction overall will make a lot of difference.

Okay, good to hear that. I'll try a stiffer contra and match the rollers afterwards. And I tried 4.3g rollers with stock contra and stock variator and they were too light. RPM was like 9200 during WOT.

Seeing that people on the forum recommed 75ccs that is what i put in and that is roughly when the problem started (at the time I didn't realize it).

As for seals i think there is only one or two and even if you filled it until fluid came out of the fill hole they should still be above the fluid level. I'm not promising there will be no damage but i see it as unlikely. If you are running on too low of oil you will likely damage the gears as i suspect the slow take off is caused by lack of lubrication and that is creating heat.

I would check the level and if low add some more in 10-20cc increments and see what happens.

For piaggio 110ml, minarelli and morini 75ml of gear oil also in the factory manual is stated that piaggio uses 110ml...
And on the oil dip stick we are looking for the second line, not the first if we want the see the quantity of oil that we have in the gearbox

Thanks for answers! I appreciate that.

Today it has been raining so I haven't touched my scoot. Will check things tomorrow... But my white contra is definitely faulty, since it didn't even fit properly to the pulley.

Adding a gear-up kit without increasing horsepower will cause a slower take-off. My issue was that the scooter would absolutely crawl ("By crawling I mean it just goes slower than walking") until a speed of approx 15mph before accelerating. For me, I even swapped the stock gears back in and the take-off was exactly the same and just as bad. That is how I ruled those out of the equation.
