I dont understand how you can lift the frontend without being careful..
I have to push the forks down to make a wheelie, unless i pull out 1 gear completely and hit right at the 2. gear power band

Push the forks down? you mean give a tug on the handlebars to lift the front wheel...

Mine lifted the front wheel of the ground really easy if i just accelerated reallly hard in the first 3 gears sitting upright, even leaning forward you could feel the front end wanting to lift even up into 4th gear.

To wheely a bike like a RS50 is a bit harder, and you would need to lean back and maybe even give a little tug on the handlebars to get it to go, but its not something you should try as its not to good for the bike if it comes back down hard on the frontwheel.

Ah, now I understand what you guys mean!
Like a few cm off the ground?

Had the front wheel nearly 20cm off the ground 10mins ago, was out driving and figured out I had to try it.
Managed to do it quite easily in 1,2 and 3 gear. Just pulled the gears out completely!

There are european shops that ship to the USA, wen i wanted to order and ship some parts a few weeks back i got a pretty nice shock on the shipping cost, parts where like 20 euro's, and shipping cost for a packadge bellow 2 Kilograms was 40 Euro's... WTF? i send something like 2 years ago to the USA wich was almost 2 Kilograms and it was something like 22,50 euro's, atleast less than 25 euro's for shipping.

I have had good luck with orders from UK there shipping is usually reasonable between 10-15 for light items that are not real big. fairings and things will be more because of size I assume and every where else the shipping just sky rockets. also ebay they ship as a gift and no taxes

    Cool Getting Connected

guess I have to look for another vendor
    Hey Speed,

Check out Treats--they are doing a lot to support our bikes. They are in the States and they import lots of goodies. They are in SF and I regularly visit them and chat about potential products to stock. Top Performances is one of venders they support--the trick is getting the part number. If you can scrounge that up then Treats can probably get it for you.

Also since you are in the States you might want to check out Bats (Bay Area Two Stroke) --a local forum for two stroke bikes. There's a couple of cats on there that have serious Aprilia knowledge.

Sweet thanks Patrick. I'll get that number over to Benji. Did they every make this part (or something like it) for the Derbi engines? Also, do you have a Top parts number list or a place online that lists them?

i think you will do better with this next bike ryan, it looks pretty clean and less miles on the bottom end than your old one and will have a pretty new top end on it soon so will be a good runner

you putting the polini flatside carb on aswel?

and are you getting the turbo kit exhaust or changed your mind?

maybe a top performance 6th would be a nice touch for the new one aswel as you will still have good acceleration but when you want to sit at top speed it will be faster
