Top Performances 6th Gear 26 tooth mod?

patrick has looked into it but dont know if he has ever fitted one....

if you got a bore kit and all the rest its a very good idea for getting more top speed whilst keeping good acceleration

I never fitted one no, but if you got a big bore setup it should work really well, you can keep the gearing of the chain and sprockets shorter so it accelerates really well in the first 5 gears, and than the 6th gear is only longer so on long drives the bike doesnt over rev in 6th and/or you get more top speed in 6th.

Its basicly the same like some alternative gearboxes for the AM-6 offer but at a fraction of the cost because you only change one gear instead of the whole box.

Im proppably gonna fit one wen im gonna rebuild my engine/bike.

patrick are you still going to stick with a stock Rs or are you going all out again and tuning it with pink top kit ect ect

p.s tune it and leave police behind! if need be make a lil electric button which slides a black sheet accross ya reg plate so they cant read it when they chase be like ghostrider all over again

If you payed atension you would knew its no longer stock... Giannelli pipe is back on with a SHA 12mm carb i had laying around, so does 75kmh now tops but doesnt run to well because of the stiff reeds and the fact the engine is in serious need of a rebuild.

oh right least itl do well with the giannelli pipe, didnt see you put it on here you fitted anything to it as last i heard you were sticking it to stock coz of the police impoundings ect

Cant wait till i got enough money to spare to rebuild the bike, i am gonna install the 6th gear in there also than, looking at how it accelerates and shifts now nearly stock it already has power enough to make use of it in 6th (bike goes trough its powerband completly in 6th, so a loinger 6th gear would be nice even with my setup)

maybe get a quick onboard video if you can zip tie a phone on or something? as long as the phone isnt worth hundreds haha

They dont ship to the USA at the momend, they did for a while but they had problems with shipments, so if you would email them it might help speed things up.

They say it adds aroun 10% more top speed. should be good becuase 6th gear is really short...

yea I know 6 gear is wayyy to short..
I had a 14t / 47t on before it was great for the top speed on the motorway (about 72 mph) it was really horrid from stoplight to stoplight
so im back to 13t/47t screaming @ 12k going 67 mph lol
