Hi all. Well I never got any response on my other post, maybe I'll have more luck this time.
I'm getting ready to tear into the forks on our '08 Scarabeo 50 4T. I've got the service manual and the owners manual but neither say what the fork oil capacity is. Does anyone know what it is or have any ideas on how to eye ball it?
Also, according to the service manual you can remove the lower portion of the fork (they call it the 'lower fork leg') without removing the whole fork from the bike. I can change out the seals this way but will I be able to put enough oil in without having access from the very top? Is it a problem if they're overfull?
The forks on this model seem to be a bit different the others I'm seeing on the forums and there seems to be a lot less interest/information on the Scarabeo 50 in general.
Any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks
