I ordered a new set of Michelin pilots and I was wondering if any one has ever changed there tires them selfs. How did you brake the bead? Is there a tube? I have tire irons but I have never changed a tire on a motorcycle or a scooter and I want to do it right.

....some places do free fitting if you buy the tires from them....by hand is a real bitch... if you really want to do it yourself you may be able to break the bead using your boot heels by standing on the tire after it is deflated...and be careful of damaging your rims with tire irons....good luck...

I got the tires on the Internet for cheep I guess If I can't get the back one off by hand I will pay to have them done. Are there tubes?

I've done both of my tires and it was no problem breaking the bead... After removing the Valve Stem, I used the Tire Iron and pressed down on one location till it "broke"...
I was fairly surprised at just how easy it was...
