Indicators

Hey guys ,
got a problem with my indicators. Bought two new front indicators they were both working fine for about 2 days then all of a sudden the left indicators started flashing fast, Front left didn't even flash and the rear did just really fast. I took the panels off and taped the resistor to the panel , stop it rattling around. Now they both dont work. if i hit a pot hole in the road they might start working for a few seconds if i move the wires they work aswell. Any help guys? Is it a broken resistor ( i've check all the connections )

bad connection somewhere? (ino you checked but crimp them lightly to make sure of a good connection) even if they feel tight they can come lose real easy and that little bump in a pot hole cud bounce the wire and make a connection so it comes on

Could the broken connection be a broken resistor , when i press on the resistor , it will work sometimes

Tried new resistors , no luck. The indicators dont even light up. Would a new led 12v replay fix the problem ? Also abit off topic, i've found a ground wire not connected to anything , should i just tape it to the frame ?

If youi dont know where it comes from or goes to dont... better isolate it than so it doesnt short, unless your really sure its a ground wire.
