Picked up a few extra fuses and my Dad and I re mounted the horn in a better spot that gave more room under the "hood" more then likely will paint the strip of metal black to blend in a bit more. Also fixed a broken part of the top cover Dad takes all the credit for this one.

I replaced my horn with a Hella horn. It currently sits under the bike attached very near the ECU of the bike, within the body work. It points downward which is not ideal, but it much louder than stock. :-)

That is where most ppl put theirs.. but I wanted mine up at handle bar level.. most horns are high pitch which can be bounced very easy.. so higher and more direct it aims forward the better.

Wow, didn't know that existed. Looks good. I paid a bit less for the Hella, but it's physically larger so I had to get creative on the install.

Now, I think we both paid too much and could have got this. It's small

Much cheaper, just as loud if not louder than both of our horns.. combined. It takes dual hella's to do 118db, I figure a single is about 112-115db.

Seen that horn in person.. NOT LOUD and the tone is very buzzer ish 500hz is a good sound that can travel with being disrupted very easy.. lower the sound the faster it fades into city traffic. 500hz is the sound of a Trumpet playing a good solid mid to high note.

So Lower then this tone.. more then likely needs a secondary horn.

I paid about 38$ for my horn

Do you want help removing your engine and sending it to Rich when I get my box back? sending it should cost less then 65$. It cost me 61$ from Point Roberts WA.
