Does the BEO come with an alarm system? Or would an aftermarket system like Gorilla be a good investment. I don't have a garage to store a large scooter and my Honda Helix was stolen and trashed a few years back. Don't want that to happen again.

Yes, it does come with an alarm system and a key FOB. I supplement the alarm system with a Kryptonite Stronghold Above Ground Anchor and a big chain for use when parked in front of my house.

It took a while, but my 2010 Beo was finally delivered yesterday! I can't explain how happy I am with it. Any worries I had about my height were immediatly squashed. I love it! I only put about a 100 miles on it yesterday because it was so dang hot, but will break it in more today! Will put my topbox on it this weekend. I ordered a Bike Barn to store it in, they are on sale for about a $100 off until the end of the month from the manufacturer www.bikebarn.net if anyone is interested. They get really good reviews on the net.

Glad that you are happy with the new toy!!! I'll be watching for you in the area. I've met other Vespa riders while out cruising central Maryland but never another rider on an Aprilia. Enjoy and be safe.
