perfect for big bore bikes. #96 jet, cable choke, although I set it up with a finger pull choke. Less than 2 hrs on carb. I found this when i looked up jetting for my carb.

Looking up my carb it says that it came stock with a 262 atomizer and a 90 mainjet is that a huge jump even though it is a modded setup to a 105 main jet

Yeah, it would because the mixture is not right so the combustion is not perfect, so you get less power out of it.

Did you turn the mixture screw to the base position? (fully in and than 360 degreas out) you always need to start adjusting the mixture from there in steps of 45 degres at a time. rto far in or out means theres something (jetsize?) not right.

should i drop down to a smaller jet it looks like every one i have looked at has mid 90 main jet and i am well over that with what i have in there now.. Also patrick as I screw the mix screw in it sends the motor rpms up should it do that. I thought that was what the idle scew was for.

Mixture screw adjust the mixture especaily at idle so the rpm will change from that also, wixch you than adjuast with the idle screw.

No idea, i never heard of a Sparco carb, the only Sparco i know makes racing clothing, gloves, shoes, helmets, seats, stearingwheels, and pedals etc. no engine or technical parts.

ilooked it up its made in india. any ways I fooled with it tonight its better but not perfect i will keep tinkering with it. I dont want to start another thread so I will ask you here. What will the upgraded cdi unit do it seems to only want to pull up to 8000 to 9000 rpm will the upggraded cdi do any thing with that? Also a larger carb what advantage will that bring faster acceleration ??

Larger carb will give more power, so main difrence will be acceleration.

upgraded CDI has a slightly difrent timing curve, migfht help getting further in the RPM's but you need to get your mixture setup perfectly first.
Cheap Yellow TP kit wont make much difrence, its more reliable and has a slightly better timing, Red TP kit (and the other kits like it) is more agresive in its timing curve and its really noticable in the higher rpms.

there all Ducati, only the new AM-6 bikes (not Aprilia) might have Yamaha, but not sure as so far i only seen Ducati ignitions on the AM-6, are you sure those others are for a AM-6 and not an othe Minarelli engine?
