A beautifully restored 1974 SFC is selling on Ebay, with no bids and three hours to go. Starting price is $32,000 and the buy-it-now is $40,000. WHY NO BIDS? Another, pristine all-original 1974 SFC sold on Ebay in early May for $56,100, with 39 bids. The difference between a restored example and a completely original bike can't account for the lack of bids on one bike and a very high price for the other, can it? A not very impressive 1974 SFC Replica was recently bid up $15,700 without meeting the reserve. So what gives? I guess you can tell that I would love to own an SFC.
