You should have just converted one of the vdb's into a dirtbike and saved yourself some cash. How come you've let the rarities(vdb's) suffer in the garage for so many years w/out any wheel time? Poor things.

    Cheers on the MXV though!

The only RXV in it. That's gotta be worth 10 votes.

I am throwing my newest into the ring as well.2011 450 MXV "replica". Look it up, Aprilia Racing factory built motor, reinforced crank, special clutch, Race ECU, special pistons, Arrow pipes, carbon inner fender, skid plate Ti pegs, Kayaba 49mm forks with billet triples. Like the bike J. Coppins raced in MX1 (minus the Alpinas). Going to take the goods off my '09 MXV (Ohlins cartridge Shivers, Extreme Riders fork bottoms, Brembo 108mm Mono Bloc caliper and 16mm Master, Ohlins rear shock, 5 spd tranny and the Marchesini wheels. Ice part triples too when they arrive next week. It will sure rip!

I'll throw in as well. It was an SXV450 but it got a healthy extra 100cc over the winter as well as STM slipper, X-Trig Tripples, Anodized the forks Black and did some cool internal stuff for RR, Aplinas, black plastics (still deciding if i want to do a kit or not, Brembo 16x16, Arrow exhaust, Carbon Bars and the first polished SXV frame i have seen (was bored while it was apart.

Almost forgot i did some baking and ended up with painted engine covers haha

Finally! There's some entries to check out. I was losing hope we'd have at least 5 entries to vote on. Dave saved the contest w/ his 2 bike entry. Nobsta, are you in, or are you still working on the photoshop details of the remaining 3/4 of your bike?

I know there's more shy guys who've got there bikes decked out. Be proud and post em up. I'll stick mine up, but I'm still waiting for parts etc. Go figure, but it is what it is. Maybe if the showdown gets dragged out a bit more we can stir up some competition? I know there out there…..

Great job on the covers Popik. Damn good looking! Would love some more pics of the covers and frame.
believeinsxvs- that MXV replica is damn cool. Can't wait to see her when you swap over parts.

Nice RXV's! They can still look blingish for the photos after the abuse.

I kind of stole/borrowed the technique for the covers from an old post i found on here...i think you can search "spackle" and it should come up.
The frame wasnt nearly as much work as i figured it would be...about 3hrs total. Couple closer pics below.
