@proslider: I just want to remove them because a friend of mine owns a KTM 660 SMC with double Akrapovic. My bike looks better, no doubt, but his sounds a waaaay better then mine. So I want to upgrade my bike with a better sound, you know? Unfortunately here in austria you're not allowed to ride on a racetrack with more than 96 db. So I wanted to "tune" the stock exhaust a bit. It's not as expensive as a silmoto, sounds better then the original but is still allowed on racetrack.

@daws: Do you know the shipping costs already?

    Now in german...

Im deutschen Forum is leider sehr sehr wenig los

    1. I dont think you will fit an aftermarket that will go Sub 96 if measured correctly. HOWEVER in Australia the rules are the same and when inforced (rarely, if at all) the measurement is taken from some distance away.
    2. Im sure Daws is working on it
    3. Wahrsheinlich stoerts.
    4. I run the SilMoto, I doubt it is sub 96. Performance with correct mapping is noticable, plus reduced weight.

J_B, sorry for talking in german, will not happen again.
All we said was something like "which exhaust is the best/loudest etc."
I just don't want to change the stock exhaust to a silmoto, do the remapping, go to the racetrack and then get a "no, too loud", you know what I mean?
So I think the SilMoto Enduro is the best choice...
btw, no exhausts are street legal here, neither the sxv 550 is (unless it's restricted).
But the police can't see if its restricted or not, but they can hear if the exhaust is WAY too loud.

So yeah, I want better performance AND better sound, but stay under 96 db. So the silmoto enduro will be the perfect solution, i guess...

Hey dude, postage cost to Austria will be 40 Euro.

Performance gain with the Silmoto (or any aftermarket exhaust) is particularly noticeable on the track. I had to run the stock exhaust once and didn't change it for my next race meeting... bad mistake! It was significantly slower. I changed back to the silmoto between races.

No idea if it's sub 96, I've never measured it or been measured but single outlet SXV exhausts (Silmoto or Arrow) are not exactly quiet!

    Hey,

so the complete price would be 315 Euro?

Gimme some time to think about it, right now I got two offers of modificated stock exhausts.

Did you run the stock exhaust with the sil mapping without any issues?
Here in austria the silmoto won't be allowed on the track, its too loud. 96 db max

I'll do it for 300 Euro including shipping.

I did not use the Silmoto Mapping with the stock exhaust, I have the XV Tuner cable.

Thanks daws, that's a very good offer. But I need at least two weeks to decide, because currently we're moving and I need all my money there.
Will tell ya in July. If it's sold till then, no problem.
