    cvt fully transitioned speed

After looking at HGT dyno graphs I believe the speed at full transition is 45mph with stock gears, tire size and variator. With a Malossi gear up kit that should raise it to 52-55mph. With a 150X70X13 rear tire it should be 56-59 as far as my math goes but I have reached a verified 63mph and never got the rpm to increase like it would if the variator was fully transitioned. I need to know the ratio of the Malossi gear up kit
and is the variator a 1 to 1 when fully transitioned? The stock tire is 19.25" tall and the 150X70X13 is 21" tall. Any math people out there than can figure this?

if i understand you good you just need to divide the tooths for example the one i use is 14/39 which ratio is 2.78, but those are primary and you will have to know the secondary gear ratio or how many tooths they have.........its a but complicated

Well after playing with my calculator for a while this is what I came up with. At 1000 rear wheel RPM with 150X70X13 tire the speed is 62.5 mph. Not really sure what the engine RPM is at this speed. I need to get a tach bad. I'm thinking 8000 rpm or so.

You may be looking at Piaggio Dyno graphs. The Morini has a very large rear fixed pulley system and can hit some very high top speeds. I have a much different engine in mine but the gears are stock and it has a 73mph on the dash right now.

Rich, that would mean your rear wheel speed is 1260 rpm. To go that speed you must be fully transitioned and gaining speed through increased rpm? I'm trying to figure at what speed should I be fully transitioned. So far I don't think I have been able to reach that speed.
