    First start rebuild ! urgent

    Tryed to fire up my scoot after the rebuild, everything is in place.

    It fired up for about 1 second then turned off, I can't hear the sparkplug firing now, And gas seems to be leaking from the bowl

    help ?

    Recheck all your connections, fuel lines and electric. Sometimes it's really easy to switch fuel line on fuel rail.

    oh my god !!! I think i just did the biggest error of my life, I checked everything, everything seemed fine, tryed to start it another time, It caught on fire (injector and things)... Well the injector poppoed out. luckyly i had a fire extinguiser on hand, doesnt seem to be alot of dammage Other than The injector that popped out :/ It doesnt seem broken either... I think it caught on fire because there was gas around the coil -_-...

    Oh my god !1 Is there something that could be broken :S

    I think next step is to go to dealer, I'm not touching this anymore..

    i feel your pain, take a break and retrace your steps.

    how is it that the injectors came out ? did you forget too bolt them down ?

    how was the fuel getting near the coil, did you spill some, a leaky connection ?

    all these are all incidental contributors and just as surely correctable.

    take your time, walk thru your process, see the mis-steps and learn, don't freeze up.

    read post 270 on page 18 of my Looong term.thread. it only took about an hour to reassemble that path of mistakes, even though it took a couple days to get it up in the thread.

    you have done the rebuild, you can clean this up and succeed.

    Well, The gas leaked from the bowl, so that's where the gas came from, I tryed to start up 5 min later, wich I forgot about the leak :/...

    The Injector that popped off if the One with the green cap (Gas/air) ? I don't know, No it was not bolted up, but i think the thing that made it pop is fuel pressure, Kind of the same way as they Sit a tire with spray gas... The oring just got pressed by heating pressure wich made it pop off... Luckyly, I think there are no dammages since It was the gas that burned off, not the components...

    And right now, I have no idea why it was not starting, that's why i'm going to bring it to the dealer because now i'm too afraid to do Real harm... I might have done the rebuild but it's still not starting, Might be easy for you to say so, but i'm unexperienced on things like that and i'm 16 years old... It was a first timer, there might be other times but maybe not on something that advanced.. I think I might have to resign and pay the price now :/

    Well the only thing that was not boilted was the Little Metal plate, which i tought was not needed to be fully bolted, I looked for the torx-head screw that were supposed to go on there, but I didnt seem to have them.... Is it a torx head screw ?

    OK, you are 16 and a first timer, that doesn't suggest or make you incompetent nor incapable. it only means your experience is thin, but it's bulking up fast today )

    Yes its a Torx. Def needs to be on..

    I would say do not quit.. and bolt it up take it outside and try again. you are almost there.

    I am almost there i know, but i'm afraid I really break something, and also I have no idea where my torx are !!! they dissapearedd !!

    Other than the rubber casing of the electrical wires of the injector,( not the red and yellow wiere them self, just the black twin casing was dammaged (burnt a little) there doesnt seem to be apparent dammages. Do you think fire could have dammaged it ?

    And What Are the causes for a leaking bowl ?

    It was making a "phssssssssssttttttt sound"

    Anyway..

    great news : THERE IS NO ECU CODES

    Bad News : My fuel pump is not priming up any more : causes ? I'm pretty sure The Electrical wire that goes up to it got burned down, could it be possible ? (The Rubber gain seem to have took lots of dammage)
