Jakub is on his game and looking strong. Factory support for his team is proving to be a good thing for them, no longer on a privateer / satellite budget they seem to be having a stronger season.

I'm calling Jakub for a podium spot. I'm calling Checa for a podium spot and I'm calling Sykes for a podium spot. I haven't picked my order yet.

While you're watching the races give out a little cheer for one of my local series riders that has gotten a wildcard entry for SBK Miller. Shane Turpin is a multiple time MRA #1 plate holder and an instructor at the Yamaha Champions Rider School. He's a great guy and has been training hard for this opportunity. One of my sponsors, Boulder Motorsports who really helped me over the past 6 seasons when I was racing a Ducati 748, is his primary sponsor for his SBK try.

Thumbs-up. Shane has been racing some CMRA events with us this season on a Ducati 1198. He is seriously fast (mid-1:43's at TWS).

Only Sat. practice was wet, all the others have been dry (just cold) so the set ups shouldn't change all that much. Tomorrow looks to be about 10-15 degrees warmer(thank god). It should be a good one.

Sure are a lot of Aprilia shirts out there at Miller. Nice to see the brand being recognized.

Laverty came cruising out of his pit earlier and walked to wherever they go to change. He's tiny! I have a pic with Max at the SLC airport from a few yrs ago and he's just slightly shorter than me. Almost looks like Max wishes he could move the seat closer to the pedal! HAHA!

    Sucks for Checa.
    Good on Chaz
    BM's are fast!

Max's safe riding may not last... Rea's must 10ft wide or people are scared
