On hot days like over 90 degrees my bike will sputter a little bit at around 3 to 4000 RPM. Is this normal for the RSV? I have had my valves adjusted and still the same thing. Only when it's hot out though. Can anyone help.

Three great forces rule the world: stupidity, fear and greed
always - always check all vacuum lines / hoses . With age they harden and crack. But usually this effects idle - let us know you fix it

So you are talking about amperage for battery? I Checked hoses and they were not cracked or damaged, all were in place. I have ordered a new better as my bike is going on three years with its original. Thanks every one for the suggestions.
As a first test just the voltage with the engine not running and at idle.

Alright,
Not running I got 11.3 and running when warmed up was 13.5.
that sounds ok. could be a small vacuum leak.

Mine does the same thing. For the record - it's a 2007 that was un-crated last April. Has 3100 miles (5000kms). Leo Vince slip-ons, Map2. I won't have a chance to check on hoses for a while, but I'll keep checking this thread to see if there is any resolve. I'd be surprised if there are bad hoses on a bike that only has 3100 miles. Granted they're 5 yrs old, but they weren't subjected to any engine heat or other abuse until this time last year.
Could not find any hose damage. the weird thing is that it will stop after a while. maybe it has to do with engine temperature. I will keep looking for answer.
