I really like the Brembo radial master from an R6 that I have on my bike and it was only $55 about $300 less expensive than the RCS 19.

I don't know if you've found it, but it's not at all unusual to have debris or a part of the brake line itself block fluid from returning. I've seen it happen both locking the calipers...and preventing flow causing a "locked" lever.

Check your lines...but as a rule, you should definately change them. It's time.

Well, I finally got the new lines and the master cylinder installed. Problem is, the left caliper has the outer pistons are not sitting back once the pressure is released from the lever. The pads are sitting about an 1/8th of an inch off of the calipers when the lever is released but the outer left pad is sitting about 1/4th of an inch off of the caliper. The wheel still spins but it is grinding against the rotor pretty bad. Has anyone ever had their calipers rebuilt? I would hate to shell out $600 for new calipers but there isn't much else I can do at this point. Thanks for any info!!

Can you move all the pistons in and out freely?

I have a set of the red 2 pin Brembo calipers that are in very good working condition if you can't get yours working and are interested. I took them off my 2000 USA (1999 Euro model) when I went to radial Ohlins forks.

some say you can get seals from ktm. i think they're 36/32mm pistons but im not sure. but then how do you know its the seals and not the pistons or calipers that have corroded. hopefully its just some muppet who sprayed them with wd40 or similar oil causing the seal to expand rather than the latter. seal then makes the piston stick because its a bit tight.

    The pistons are 30/34mm.

I hated to do it but I spent the cash and bought new calipers for the front and back. It was a lot of money but I guess you can't put a price on your safety. Thanks everyone for the information. If anyone is interested in a set that needs rebuilding, shoot me a message.
