    2010 848 evo

    What problems can be expected with this bike. saw about the bearings. Is there anything else?
    Black Factory, arrow Titanium cans flapper disabled, remapped by Clarkie, 10.5 rear spring, 1.0 front springs. MRA screen. P/CIII with custom map. 15/42 gearing. EVO air box kit. pptunig rearsets.

    they don't turn in , they run wide , the brake fade and they have no power whats so ever , buy a real bike they are shit

    But yes the handling blows stock.. Nobody who races them run stock triples or rear link, shock.. Ever... How can Ducati be so stupid I don't know.

    That's the first thing to do with an 848 .. get the suspension sorted.

    If the OP wants it for the road, it is a fine bike with more than ample power to get a plod tug ..... had over 110mph (clock indication so knock a bit off) in 3rd gear with a few more RPM to go on mine.
    Road problems are cooking your nuts if riding through town, in heavy traffic, a lights and a numb arse/sore inner thighs after 200 miles.

    Haven't tracked it as I am prone to binning bikes and breaking stuff including myself

    For the road I thought it was a good enough bike. Suspension wasnt an issue for me.

    I know this is an old post but how do you suppose anyone races one in the superstock classes where these parts aren't legal?

    The same can be said about the 1198. I tracked it a few times, and did not like it at all.
