    rsv4 racing

interesting and very nice bike for track.
impressed about the engine, the feeling of rear tire, impressed about the slides out-of corners, also the braking handling is very deep indeeed.

not ever impressed about the brakes but that is not a problem.

the stock ecu is good for street ( only ) - if you 100% throttle the bike is too aggressive.

    much work

    Thanks Yoda, that was insightful.

    I think.

Nope. Actually, I didn't understand a single line that you just wrote.

Many people have said the same, specifically those who spend time on the track.....I think you may even agree with your recent brake upgrades ;-) hehe

I can start by being a jerk, but Aaron has a point. We do have another thread where we all discuss braking improvements. Potere and I are included in that one...

I think most bikes at 100% throttle are too aggressive!! If it's not then you've got a problem.

This subject has started to interest me a bit since motogp bikes now are tuned different for various portions of the track which is just so foriegn to me as opposed to just running one basic tune. I was reminded of this two races ago when Nicky Hayden Ducati's didn't know where it was on the track.

the subject is the bike not me.
soon I will post pictures with the racing/stock parts that need to be changed. The brakes will be changed anyway.

I need more track time but the brakes seem to be pretty good so far. In regards to the throttle or power I agree that most bikes with over 100HP need smooth throttle feed or yeehaa (it's a techinical term).

Everyone seems to compare their bikes to WSBK that cost $100k to build. I am not a racer and can't push my bike nearly as hard but for $15 to $22K it seems to be really good to me.

the only bad part is when you put the throttle down when you are in full race, having riders arround you and so... when you ride for pictures you can ride full tank w/o having a single problem.

for what its worth, i never liked any of the aprilia stock brakes, do yourself a favor and try a 19x18 front master, with you being on track you'll probably want a set of vesrah pads as well, with the stock pads the 19x18 was a night and day difference
