Photo of the parts needed to convert your Tuono V4 tail piece to the RSV4

I may have gone a bit over the top with the screws needed to but I wanted to cover all the bases. I got the tail side with the decal already on it off Ebay from a dealer and it's a slightly different white to the other one so I'm having all panels sprayed the same metallic white (oh, did I mention I'm changing the colour too by the way

I'll be doing a complete how-to video and uploading it onto YouTube but it won't be till after the beginning of June and I've got another track day out of the way (just in case)

The panels are being re-sprayed anyway and I might go for just V4 as you did. I forgot to order the seat lock pin that goes underneath the pad so it can clip into the lock mechanism, that'll be done Monday. Really looking forward to seeing it all done.

The LED lights that take away a little rear light to become indicators aren't legal in the U.K yet (still may be tempted though

All panels except the belly pan and front mudguard, and that's what I was thinking about the red, keep the Red Aprilia logos on the tank, the Red akropovic on the end can, put the V4 in red on the tail and keep the red rim tape. I think it would look quite subtle. Opinions?

    RSV4 tail on a V4 Tuono

    Hi mate,

I am looking at buying a new tuono in the next few weeks and wanted to buy everything to change the tail at the same time.
I have seen that you have posted a picture of the parts needed for the tail conversion. But could you please email me a list of all the part numbers and quantities required. It would be great if you could help a bloke from down under

    my email is mlb83@live.com.au

    Cheers Mark

For the weight weenies: Did you weight the whole set-up before and after? Thinking the RSV4 is lighter by a pound or 3.

I did.. Is 1,25 kg less ( 0,8 kg of them are just from the passegger seat itself) . Taking also passegger pegs away, there's another 0,8 kg saved. 2 kg in total in my case
