Advance woodruff key!?

Posted this in the other sr forum but got no luck, since a bunch of peeps on here are using the woodruff key thought i would give it a bash!

I had an 01 ditech sr but now have a 05 piaggo carb fed sr, I bought the 3 degree advance woodruf key for the ditech but never got round to fitting it. Im about to order a zx for the 05 and a set of jets ect, would the woodruf key do anything for the carb'd piaggo engine, I used to race crf50's and a popular thing was to do was fit a rather expensive inner rotor kit that you would shift the timming back and foward due to the oval pickup bolt holes, this engine also ran on the cdi type that the carb engine does, or am completly wrong haha

Not sure but id be happy to but it off you if you want to get rid of it?

Since you are discussing a carb in a ditech section you will not really get any help. It should work fine but no one here has tested it since we are not running carbs. Throw it in and see what happens. If it doesnt run right you can always take it out.
