Fort Worth Capo shuts OFF after few minutes of riding

Greetings, I have 2003 Capo. The bike has serve me well except for having to replace the voltage regulator and coils. Just recently it has started shuting off after only a few minutes of riding. I am not sure if if it is fuel starvation but just simply shuts off. Is this the fuel pump? It will restart and run fine until I start moving again. While in neutral I can rev the engine to 4 to 5000 rpm with no issues but once it is placed into gear it will shut off after a few moments. It does not give any engine codes. Could this be the computer? Has anyone on this forum experienced similar problem? Thanks for any info. Regards

Sounds like it could be a variety of things: a blocked fuel tank vent - those two thin pipes that run down beside your clutch slave cylinder connect to vents to allow air back into your tank, and to drain surplus fuel if you spill or overfill. The pipes AND the nipples they attach to are known to have become blocked.
Could also be the fuel pipe INSIDE the fuel tank, connected to the pump.
Or it could be the sidestand switch that doesn't let you ride off in gear with the stand down - if that switch has got wet or the wires have been damaged, it would cause the symptoms you describe.
Personally, I'd start there - it's the easiest one to get to!
And your second post in five and a half years on the forum? Don't be shy - only a few of us are rabid.....
I'd like to die on Mars. Just not on impact.
The appropriate number of cylinders for any motorcycle is two.
