    Thats the spirit.

I tried the clipons. The bike looked kinda nice and cafe racer-ish. It was really planted mid corner, easy to ride fast on sweeping roads etc, but I changed back eventually. I much prefer the hooligan Tuono vibe, albeit less technically proficient.

it only suits me better cause not everyone has that semi naked cafe racer look and im a bit short to make full use of the motocross bars, found that when the front kept going light and i felt like i was steering while trying to do a bit of boxing. and the clip ons make it feel more planted. tuono bars felt like i was on ice a lot. still have them though collecting dust.

Fit both clipons and a handle bar at the same time to have best of both worlds... I bet no one ever tried that before.

    Eh, yeah, very nice wheels

Dont tell everyone that superfinishing is pointless on wheels, im trying to catch a big fish here. I had a little bite there.

Superfinishing makes engines last longer, which is extremely useful when developing highly tuned applications, such as drag racing or top tier circuit racing. It is expensive though. I think Mladin was penalised for doing it in AMA, but that is just heresay.
Cheers BrummyMax, must admit, didn't think they would be that easy, figured they'd be some special tool required, nice..

Sorry if I gave the game away on superfinishing, my mistake, you obviously meant super-fishing!!!

the proper oz forged rims off of the gen1 "R" models are anodised.. they put the cast versions of these wheels on the gen 2 bikes which are not only much heavier but are also painted..

Not entirely true. The gen 2 Factory bikes have forged (anodised) OZ,s as well. The non factory versions do indeed have cast OZ copies.
Iirc the later gen2 bikes used forged rims from Malgatech and nit OZ

Yes, both carbon bellypan and carbon front fender sprayed. The bp was damaged a bit. The fender not new either..The result....I do hope the paint keeps it's quality tough...anyway, for now I like it...
