The assertion was that ANYONE who installed an upgrade shock was a 'poseur'...! While it's possible to accept that, the premise is bollocks! Smart bikers here tried to make reasonable cases to justify their stuff... the kid pressed his shite... For shitty riders like most of us, upgrade shocks, tires etc...doesn't make us faster...just makes it easier to do our 'comfortable speeds'... And what's wrong with that... Best Regards!

About what? Dampening fade from heat?

The fact the TTX doesn't suffer from that?

Or the fact I ride when it's over 105º F because last year I did a track day when it was actually 115º with 62% humidity and smiled the whole time.

well i went out for a good ride today, wanted to break in my new cortech suit, the ttx was flawless and the ohlins valves worked awesome, the bike was smooth and planted through every corner, slow or fast corners, breaking was stable the bike really was transformed, if your not thrilled with the stock suspension on the R i definately reccomend a ttx and either valves or cartridges for the front, i only ride up in the mountains so i went for the valves in the front, but what a night and day transformation

oh and my cortech suit rocks! just got it back all customized from alexa at spyderleatherworks and i have to thank todd at heroic for the best fitting and most comfortable gloves i have ever worn

with the suspension upgrades the bike is actually a blast to ride instead of a burden

The TTX is much easier to set up than the OEM shock IMO.

I took the OEM shock off because I could never find the right setup, then I put the TTX on and right out of the box with the suggested settings it is great. Can't get much easier than bolting it on....
