"Aprilia Experience" Event At Miller WSBK May 26-28

Max Biaggi is leading the World Superbike championship and you can see Max and Eugene Laverty at Miller SBK. Aprilia USA is giving race fans and superbike enthusiasts the opportunity to experience the Aprilia brand of race-proven motorcycles at the Salt Lake City round of the World Superbike championship on Memorial Day Weekend. Behold, The Aprilia Experience.

Beginning Saturday, May 26 through Monday, May 28, Aprilia USA will be hosting an incredible display of high-performance motorcycles, official apparel and merchandise, and much more! Below, you will find a quick list of all of the activities going on in the Aprilia display throughout the weekend:

 Aprilia Adventure Test Rides – You’ve never been on a “demo” ride like this before. Up the mountains and through the canyons, the Aprilia Adventure gives riders an opportunity to test Aprilia motorcycles on some of America’s finest roads. Demo rides will be available on the most powerful naked on the market today, the new 167 HP Aprilia Tuono V4 R APRC, the world championship RSV4 Factory APRC, the fun and exciting naked bike, Shiver 750, and the Dorosduro 1200, the ultimate street hooligan.

 Product Display – Aprilia Product Specialists will be on hand to show you the key features and benefits of world champion winning Aprilia motorcycles. On display will be the all-new Aprilia Tuono V4 R APRC, the RSV4 Factory APRC, RSV4 R APRC, the Dorsoduro 1200 and the Shiver 750.

 Aprilia Racing Factory Store – Plan a pit stop at the Aprilia Racing Factory Store and pick up the same gear that the Aprilia World Superbike team is wearing.

I'll be volunteer working for the event, but certainly hope to take advantage of the gift pak. Would love to have time to jump on the V4 Tuono but probably won't be in the cards. Regardless, this is great for Aprilia and all its customers.

Wow, what a great time it sounds like that's going to be. And a really big Yay for the marketing department!!

This is great, so far the promotion of Aprilia at Miller has been non existent except when they introduced the RSV4. Hopefully this will encourage someone local to pick up the Aprilia line again. Last year there was a tent with a little apparel and one RSV4 but that was about it.

Definetly a big plus. Hopefully part of the Demo ride will be on the track cause the nearest curves are about 20miles of straight riding away.

Hmmmm, I could care less about test riding the Shiver and RSV4 for obvious reasons, but I wouldn't mind a shot at the Dorosduro 1200. See you there!

GODDAMMIT! Why didn't they do this last year when i was actually there? Now that I'm back on the east coast I'm not gonna be able to make it out for this year's race

They did the same thing a few years ago up at Road America.
It was a good 1.5 hour ride and really worth the time.
They had planned a great route with some very "spirited" sections.

That sounds great for Aprilia!
I happened to stop by the local dealer the last day they had the demo of the V4 Tuono - wow, what a bike! The quick-shifter, the power, the easiness - it was like magic. I would have bought one on the spot if I wasn't rather in the market for a tamer bike than the one I already have - I had gone there to look at Moto Guzzi. (sigh) I wouldn't be surprised if Aprilia find themselves scrambling to come up with the units they sell/get orders for that weekend!

What's the new Aprilia merchandise coming on sale? I've seen the jackets they wear at WSBK. Very nice.

So, what chance do you have of actually getting a test ride? I have not found anything that indicates what you have to do to sign up. Sounds like you just show up,, get in a huge line and wait. And if the trips go into the mountains, that wait will be long. Anyone know how this is going to work?

OK I'm here in UT and I brought my V4 (the Italian one).

I also brought about 40 different Aprilia keys from 40 different Aprilia owners so I can bring back 40 gift packs.
