HOLY CRAP! I love my bikes and it would be great to have their resale value be higher than it is but 8500 for a 2000 mille R is NUTS!

It is a really, really clean bike. Seller was quite happy with the price it achieved.
Good to see a legitimate auction also. So many I've been watching recently have way too many zero history bidders (Shill bidding?)

I'll believe it when I see the mutual feedback. It wasn't $8,000 clean. Shit $3,000 more and you can get a lightly used RSV4.

All shill bidding doesn't have to be zero rated bidders. In fact it looks much better if they are high like this auction.
Call me a skeptic that a 12 year old Aprilia went for that kind of money.

Yea I was watching that one too. Just does not make sense? There is a almost indentical bike up on Ebay right now http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/?cmd=...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT Its a forum members, I sure he would be very have to get close to that price?

I hope it did sell for that amount. Maybe our bikes have finally hit rock bottom and are now an appreciating classic!

I doubt it thou? Auction smells fishy to me?
2002 Tuono "R" #188. The original and 1st model Tuono ever made, and as far as I'm concerned the best looking.

So how much do you think an equivalent Ducati would sell for from the same quality seller?

Hmm from a specs standpoint the closest thing Ducati made that year would be a 996S. From a price standpoint probably the base 996 is closer. I would think a 996S in similar condition might actually sell for as much money as that Mille R is trying to make us think it brought.

This guy couldn't get $6,000 for a 2007 like new RSV with 2,800 miles.
He had it listed for the last few months.
