NJ/NY/PA Riders, Any interest in a beach BBQ?

So being that I live across the street from the beach and the boardwalk, love to BBQ, love looking at bikes and am always outnumbered by the Harley's cruising around here in their wife beaters I thought it would be very cool to have a BBQ for my fellow Ape lovers and then take you all cruising through some multi-million dollar neighborhoods, down the shore, through Asbury Park by the Stone Pony (Bruce fans will know) and around the scenic road overlooking Sandy Hook, the Verrazano, the city and then through Navesink River road, Red Bank and Rumson on some of my local twisties...

I am just putting out the feeler, if there is enough interest we can lock down a date. Significant others "could" be welcome, we will take a group consensus and depending on the size and amount of people it will either be all on me or I might ask for a few contributions... Depends if it is 20 people or 40 people I am providing food and booze for (after the ride!)

I may be interested but it's a damn long ride for me......would have to be a Sat.

Sorry you think it's intolerant of me to not tolerate your intolerance.

2007 RSVR 1000- Yeah, It has a few upgrades.....

We used to earn the things we desired in life. Now we're just encouraged to put our hand in the next guy's pocket.

    - Don't go where trouble is likely to find you.
    - Some people attract trouble. Don't associate with them.
    - If you're minding your own business and trouble finds you anyway, do what it takes to de-escalate and walk away.
    - If walking away isn't a viable option, consider running.
    - If you have considered and/or exhausted all of your other options and you must fight to defend yourself, fight to kill.

Awesome, the more the merrier... I was thinking late June to give people time to plan. If that isn't enough time we could do it later in the summer, it is really whatever works best for everyone else. BBQ's on the weekend are easy for me

For those who don't know just ask SlowMike about my Peter Luger sliders

Essentially yes lol... The difference is that I mix the sauce in with the meat as I am forming the patties to give them juice from within. The a little sauce as they cook and they are mouth watering...

Incidentally I was at The Old Homestead and went to order a Kobe burger. The waiter stopped me and told me the majority of the flavor of the Kobe would be lost if the meat was ground. He said if I wanted Kobe have a Kobe steak and if I want a burger have a burger but that ordering the Kobe burger was spending a lot of money for very little return. he explained it was like eating a 70/30 or even 65/35 burger opposed to a good sirloin 80/20... I got the Kobe steak (same price as the Kobe burger) and he got a very good tip... Also, are we talking Kobe, Kobe style, Wagyu? REAL Kobe is very limited as it comes from a specific region in Japan and they can only produce so many cows...

Next time back I got the same waiter, got a burger and again he got a very good tip LOL...

Hi! Got a mana last month and I'm loving the bike and would like to meet some more ape owners. I'm in MD and interested. Always looking for an excuse to ride and sliders are a good enough excuse in my book!

The more the merrier! How does the weekend of July 28th/29th or the weekend of August 4th/5th look for everyone? If that is too "mid-summer" we could do later in August as well but those are the preliminary days I am thinking...

Let me know what you guys think,
